The Exams

Law schools have been slow in migrating towards the computer age.  Believe it or not, your school may not allow computers to be used on the exam.  Your choices will be to write out the exam long hand or to type on an approved typewriter.
Generally, but not always, the exam will be 3 or 4 hours long.  You may be thinking to yourself, that's plenty of time, I could write a treatise in 3 or 4 hours.  Most of your professors have been giving exams for many years.  They know exactly how long fact patterns generally take.  And they will put enough fact patterns into the exam to cause you to have to push right to the end.  The 4 hours of exam time will be like slipping into a time warp.  They go by incredibly fast.
